Venue Partner Terms
Last updated: October 27, 2026These Venue Partner Terms ("Terms") are an agreement between Moneo YAZILIM A.Ş. ("Hidden Eye," "we," "us") and the business or individual that registers a hotel, guesthouse, rental flat or other venue in the Hidden Eye venue program ("the Venue," "you"). They set out how the Venue scans its rooms with the Hidden Eye app, how its reports and badge are published on hiddeneye.ai, and how the Venue earns a share when guests who scan at the Venue buy Hidden Eye Pro. An overview of the program is on our partners page.
- A venue goes live only after we verify ownership and the Venue completes its first on-site scan.
- Every scan made in venue mode is published. Reports cannot be edited; a correction means a new scan. The Venue may withdraw a report, and the page then says so.
- The badge says "Scanned with Hidden Eye" with a date. It is not a certificate, and the Venue must never describe it as "verified," "certified," "camera-free," "100% safe" or "guaranteed."
- When a guest who completed a room scan detected at the Venue buys Pro within 72 hours, the Venue earns 25% of our net revenue from that purchase.
- Shares become payable after a 45-day holding period and are paid monthly in Turkish lira against an invoice, or as credit for Hidden Eye services.
1. Acceptance and scope
You accept these Terms by submitting a venue partner application or by accepting them in the venue panel. If you accept on behalf of a company or other business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. These Terms apply together with our Terms of Service, which govern use of the Hidden Eye app, including in venue mode. If they conflict, these Terms prevail for the venue program.
2. Definitions
- Venue mode: the mode of the Hidden Eye app used by the Venue to scan its own rooms for publication.
- Venue page: the Venue's public page on hiddeneye.ai, showing its badge, scan reports and guest scan totals.
- Report: the public page at hiddeneye.ai that records a venue-mode scan, and any PDF or translation produced from it.
- Venue panel: the online panel in which the Venue manages its registration, sees totals and payouts, and receives notices from us.
- Qualifying scan: a completed room scan by a guest using the Hidden Eye app that our systems detect as made at the Venue through the Venue's registered Wi-Fi network or the guest's precise location, under the conditions in Section 10.
- Net revenue: the amount we actually receive from a purchase after the App Store or Google Play fee, excluding taxes collected by the store.
3. Eligibility and ownership verification
- Only the owner or operator of a venue, or a person authorised by them, may register it.
- Hotels and other businesses verify ownership through an email address at the business's domain, their Google Business Profile, or a phone call to the business.
- Airbnb and similar hosts verify through their listing link and a screenshot of their host profile, followed by a first on-site scan and manual approval by us.
- Venues in sensitive categories, such as spas and massage businesses, are always approved manually.
- We may ask for further information or documents, and may refuse an application or end the review at our discretion, without having to give reasons.
4. Registration and going live
During registration the Venue defines its Wi-Fi networks (network names and access point identifiers, read by the app during the first venue-mode scan and confirmed by the Venue), its location on the map and its public IP address. The Venue must keep these details accurate and tell us of any change; a change may require a new verification. No venue page goes live until ownership is verified and the Venue has completed its first on-site scan in venue mode.
5. Venue mode and scanning rules
- The Venue scans rooms only between stays, when no guests are in the room. The app reminds the scanner of this at the start of each scan.
- Scans must be made in the room named in the report, on site, using the app as intended.
- Photos must not show guests or other people, guests' belongings, or documents or screens that the Venue does not want published. We blur faces, documents and screens automatically, but the Venue remains responsible for what it photographs.
- Devices used in venue mode are linked to the Venue's venue-mode account. Purchases made from these devices do not earn a share (Section 10).
6. Reports
- Every scan made in venue mode is published on the venue page. The Venue cannot choose to publish only some scans.
- The report at hiddeneye.ai is the only authoritative copy. PDFs are generated from it and carry a QR code that links back to it.
- Reports cannot be edited after they are saved. If something needs correcting, the Venue makes a new scan.
- The Venue may withdraw a report from publication in the venue panel. The venue page then shows that a report was withdrawn by the venue (for example, "1 report withdrawn by the venue").
- Reports do not show the scanner's full name (only their role or initials), Bluetooth MAC addresses, Wi-Fi network names, IP addresses or any guest data.
7. Badge rules
a) Wording
The badge reads "Scanned with Hidden Eye" followed by the date of the latest scan. It is shown with a short note on the method and its limits, a link to the report, and a statement that the Venue is a Hidden Eye partner and earns a share when guests who scan there buy Pro. The badge is a record of the Venue's own scans. It is not a certification, inspection or guarantee by Hidden Eye.
The Venue must not describe itself, its rooms or the badge as "verified," "certified," "camera-free," "100% safe" or "guaranteed," or use similar wording, or anything that resembles an official mark, anywhere: on its website, in listings, on social media, in advertising, in messages to guests or in conversation. The Venue must not claim "Checked by Hidden Eye staff" unless we have carried out such a check and say so on the venue page.
b) Coverage and time limits
- The badge is shown at room level, for example "18 of 40 rooms scanned in the last 60 days."
- If no new scan is made for 60 days, the badge fades and shows when the last scan was made. After 120 days without a scan the badge is removed. These limits are applied automatically.
c) Use outside hiddeneye.ai
The Venue may refer to its venue page and show the badge elsewhere only in the form and wording we provide, together with the scan date and a link to the venue page. It must stop doing so as soon as the badge is removed or placed under review, and must not present a faded badge as current.
8. Findings and review
- When a guest reports a finding at the Venue, the badge immediately changes to "Under review" and the venue page says so. It stays under review until the matter is resolved.
- We contact the Venue about the report. The Venue must cooperate in good faith, answer our questions promptly, and provide information, photos or a new scan when we ask.
- We may suspend the venue page while the review is open. Depending on the outcome, we may restore the badge, keep a note on the page, or end the Venue's participation under Section 15.
- The Venue must not contact, pressure or retaliate against the guest who made the report. Where a device that may be unlawful is found, the Venue must also comply with its legal obligations and cooperate with the competent authorities.
9. Licence to publish
The Venue grants Hidden Eye a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, for the duration of these Terms, to reproduce, adapt (for example by cropping, resizing, blurring and translating), publish and make available its reports, room photos, venue name, logo, description and other venue information on hiddeneye.ai, in PDF copies of reports, in translations into the languages the site supports, and in material that presents the venue program. The Venue confirms that it owns or has the necessary rights to everything it provides, and that publishing it does not infringe the rights of anyone else.
Photos are processed before publication: they must be taken with no guests present, EXIF data is removed, and faces, documents and screens are blurred. When these Terms end, we take the content down from hiddeneye.ai within a reasonable time. We may keep copies as required for our legal records. PDFs already downloaded by third parties cannot be recalled.
10. Revenue share
a) When the Venue earns a share
- A guest makes a qualifying scan: a completed room scan detected at the Venue through the Venue's registered Wi-Fi network, or through the guest's precise location under the conditions our systems apply.
- The same guest buys Hidden Eye Pro within 72 hours after that scan.
- If the guest made qualifying scans at more than one partner venue, only the last venue before the purchase earns a share.
- Matches based only on IP address count towards the guest scan total on the venue page but do not earn a share.
- Purchases made from devices linked to a venue-mode account do not earn a share.
b) Amount
- The share is 25% of net revenue from the purchase.
- Only the first payment of a subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, earns a share. Renewals do not earn a share unless Hidden Eye announces otherwise in writing.
- Store revenue is earned in US dollars. Shares are recorded in the venue panel and converted into Turkish lira for payout as described in Section 12.
c) Refunds and holding period
- If a purchase is refunded, the share is reversed. If a reversed share has already been paid, we may deduct it from future shares or ask the Venue to repay it.
- A share becomes payable 45 days after the purchase.
- Payouts are made only once payable shares reach the minimum payout amount shown in the venue panel. Amounts below the minimum are carried over to the next month.
d) Our records
Detection, attribution and amounts are determined from our systems' records and from the purchase and refund data we receive from Apple, Google and our subscription provider. Detection depends on the guest's device, network and permissions, and we do not guarantee that every scan or purchase will be detected or attributed. The Venue may object in writing to a monthly statement within 30 days of it being shown in the venue panel; after that, the statement is treated as accepted, without prejudice to mandatory law.
11. Guest discount
Guests detected at a partner venue may be shown a discounted price for Hidden Eye Pro. The discount, the plans it applies to and how long it is shown are set by us and may change or end at any time. When a guest buys at a discounted price, the share is calculated on the net revenue from the discounted price. The Venue must not promise guests any particular discount.
12. Payouts, invoices and tax
a) Choice of payout
The Venue chooses in the venue panel to receive its shares either in cash or as credit for Hidden Eye services (such as featured placement or additional rooms) as offered in the venue panel. Credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and is used under the conditions shown in the venue panel.
b) Cash payouts
- Before the first payout, the Venue provides its tax ID number (VKN) or Turkish national ID number (TCKN), IBAN and invoice details in the venue panel, and keeps them up to date.
- Each month we show a statement in the venue panel of shares that became payable in the previous month. Amounts are converted into Turkish lira at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT, TCMB) indicative US dollar buying rate on the last business day of that month.
- Venues with a tax registration issue Hidden Eye an e-invoice or e-archive invoice for the stated amount, with VAT as applicable. We pay by bank transfer to the Venue's IBAN within 15 days of receiving a correct invoice.
- For individuals without a tax registration, we issue an expense voucher (gider pusulası), withhold income tax as applicable under Article 94 of the Income Tax Law No. 193, and pay the net amount.
- The Venue is responsible for its own taxes and for any other obligations arising from the income it receives.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, cash payouts are available only to venues established in Türkiye.
c) What the venue panel shows
The venue panel shows totals only, such as the number of guest scans, the number of Pro purchases and the amount earned. It does not show any personal data about guests, and the Venue must not try to identify guests from it.
13. Room cards
- The Venue may place a room card inside its units inviting guests to scan the room with Hidden Eye. We provide the template.
- The card must state that the app is optional and that the Venue earns a share when guests buy Hidden Eye Pro.
- The card's QR code leads to the venue page on hiddeneye.ai. Store buttons may carry a Venue-specific campaign link, used only to show the Venue how many downloads its cards produced.
- The Venue must not put links, QR codes or codes relating to Hidden Eye in its Airbnb, Booking.com or other platform listings or listing photos. Cards stay inside the unit.
- The Venue is responsible for complying with the rules of the booking platforms it uses.
14. Prohibited conduct
The Venue, its staff and anyone acting for it must not:
- pressure guests to download the app, scan their room or buy Pro, or tell them the app is required;
- scan a room while guests are in it;
- make fake scans, including scans of a different room or place than the one reported, staged scans, or scans using spoofed locations or networks;
- manipulate detection, for example by making the Venue's Wi-Fi network identifiers available elsewhere;
- buy Pro, or have owners, staff, their relatives or people acting for them buy Pro, in order to earn a share;
- use the badge, the Hidden Eye name or our logos outside the rules in these Terms, or make any claim that is prohibited in Section 7;
- try to identify guests from data in the venue panel or from the guest scan count.
Shares arising from prohibited conduct are forfeited, and if they have been paid, the Venue must repay them. We may also suspend or end the Venue's participation under Section 15.
15. Term, suspension and termination
- These Terms start when you accept them and continue until either party ends them.
- Either party may end these Terms at any time with 30 days' written notice, by email or in the venue panel.
- We may suspend the venue page, the badge and shares with immediate effect if the Venue breaches these Terms, if we receive a credible report of a finding at the Venue, or if continued publication could mislead guests. We may end these Terms with immediate effect for a serious or repeated breach.
- When these Terms end, the venue page and badge are taken down and the Venue must stop all use of the badge and of the Hidden Eye name.
- Shares that are already payable are paid, even if they are below the minimum payout amount. Pending shares from purchases made before the end date become payable under the normal rules, subject to refunds. Scans and purchases after the end date do not earn a share. Shares forfeited under Section 14 are not paid.
- Unused credit lapses when these Terms end, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Sections 9 (as to copies we may keep), 10(c), 10(d), 12, 14, 16 and 19 continue to apply after these Terms end.
16. Responsibility and liability
- The Venue is responsible for the accuracy of all information, photos and statements it provides, and for any claim it makes about its rooms, its scans or the badge. The Venue is solely responsible for any misleading publication or advertising it makes, including under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the advertising rules made under it.
- The Hidden Eye app is a supporting tool. As set out in our Terms of Service, it cannot detect every device, its results may be incomplete or wrong, and a scan or a badge does not mean that a room is free of recording devices. Hidden Eye does not inspect venues and gives no warranty about any venue, room or result.
- We provide the venue program, the venue page and the venue panel "as is." We do not guarantee any number of guest scans, purchases or earnings, or uninterrupted availability of the site, the app or the panel.
- The Venue will indemnify Hidden Eye against claims, fines and losses, including reasonable legal costs, arising from the Venue's breach of these Terms, its misleading claims, content it provided, or its breach of law or of the rules of the booking platforms it uses.
- To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or reputation. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the shares paid or payable to the Venue in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under Turkish law.
17. Personal data
We process personal data in the venue program as described in our KVKK Information Notice and Privacy Policy. Each party is a separate data controller for the personal data it processes. The Venue must not send us guests' personal data. When the Venue gives us the details of its staff or panel users, it confirms that it has informed them in line with the law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. We will tell the Venue about changes by email and in the venue panel at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a shorter period is needed because of a change in law or in App Store or Google Play rules. If the Venue does not agree, it may end these Terms before the changes take effect. If it continues in the program after that date, it accepts the changed Terms. Changes do not affect shares for purchases made before they take effect.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Anadolu) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
20. General
- These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between the parties about the venue program.
- The Venue may not transfer its rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger or sale of our business.
- Notices to the Venue are sent to the email address registered in the venue panel or shown in the panel. Notices to us are sent to [email protected].
- If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
- These Terms are published in Turkish and English. If they differ, the Turkish version prevails.
